1. Agreement
By using DuoCam you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. On iOS, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies; where these terms grant you more rights, these terms prevail. On Android, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use DuoCam on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the store's rules.
3. Your content is yours
Everything you capture with DuoCam belongs to you. We claim no rights over your photos and videos, and we do not access them: they stay on your device. You are responsible for the content you capture and share.
4. Acceptable use
Use DuoCam lawfully. Do not record people where recording is not allowed or where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy, do not use the app to harass or violate anyone's rights, and do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt or misuse the app or its services.
5. Free use and Pro
DuoCam can be used for free with limits (the free trial includes one photo and one short video). DuoCam Pro removes those limits. The annual plan renews automatically until you cancel; the lifetime plan is a one-time payment for the current Pro feature set on your store account. Prices are shown before purchase and may differ by country. Where the store offers a free trial period, its length and terms are shown before you subscribe.
6. Billing, renewal and cancellation
Purchases are billed by the App Store or Google Play to your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically and the renewal is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings (App Store: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions); deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid.
7. Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under the store's own refund policy; we cannot issue store refunds directly. Write to us and we will help where we can, including pointing you to the store's refund request process.
8. Device capability
Simultaneous front and back capture depends on your device hardware. Some devices support it only at lower resolutions, and some not at all; DuoCam shows what your device supports on launch. Hardware limits of your device are not a defect of the app and are not grounds for a refund claim against us (the store's own refund policy is unaffected).
9. Availability and changes
Features may change or be discontinued as the app evolves; we aim to announce material changes in the app. We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app and published at https://duocam.zyntec.app/terms with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Termination
You can stop using DuoCam at any time; deleting your account and data is described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate the licence if you materially breach these terms.
11. No warranty and liability
DuoCam is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost captures; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.
12. Third-party beneficiary (iOS)
Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
